HEATING TOOL TIPS
-
Use thermal protectants prior to using heat tools to seal the cuticle and maintain moisture balance
-
Adjust the temperature based on texture, curl pattern and existing chemical
-
The majority of straightening should come from your drying tool. Adjust settings and blow drying technique based on the challenges with your hair. When in doubt, base your decision on how the hair feels and looks
COMMERCIAL HAIR ENHANCEMENTS
-
Avoid protective styling that results in pain to your temple or nape area before or during the service. This is a symptom of traction alopecia and often results in permanent hair loss. Please inform your service provider immediately!

-
Whether your hair is in a resting state or intertwined with synthetic or human hair fibers,it still requires maintenance during the duration of these types of styles.. A braid sheen or a moisture and/or protein based leave in conditioner to keep hair moisturized as well as providing a foundation for easy removal of the extensions

Leave It To The Professional. Consult with a professional to determine what color category your hair falls in: Semi, Demi, or Permanent. Hair is a delicate fiber and requires special needs. Your stylist has been professionally trained to perform color services that won't compromise the integrity of the hair
-
Respect the Current Chemical. Even chemicals on the hair get defensive if another is on their turf. All chemical changes take place in the same area within the hair strand. One chemical will win the turf war. However, the hair will be in a fragile state. Choose which chemical is more important to you and increase the time frame between chemicals
-
Color Requires Care. Color services require some form of maintenance for longevity, vibrancy and overall health of the hair strand. Shampoo with color enhancing shampoo then follow up with deep conditioners and ensure your hair is hydrated and strengthened
