A braid sheen or a moisture and/or protein based leave in conditioner to keep hair moisturized as well as providing a foundation for easy removal of the extensions

SHAMPOO TIPS

Cleanse your hair as needed. If you experience odor or product build-up from working out, Do a favor to yourself and others and " do the poo".
Avoid shampoos that claim to be dual purpose cleansing and conditioning in one step. Whether the hair is mild, moderate or extreme, the hair requires moisture or protein based conditioning to shampoo specifically for your hair and scalp as well as textture and curl pattern

Your stylist has been professionally trained to perform color services that won't compromise the integrity of the hair
Respect the Current Chemical. Even chemicals on the hair get defensive if another is on their turf. All chemical changes take place in the same area within the hair strand. One chemical will win the turf war. However, the hair will be in a fragile state. Choose which chemical is more important to you and increase the time frame between chemicals
Color Requires Care. Color services require some form of maintenance for longevity, vibrancy and overall health of the hair strand. Shampoo with color enhancing shampoo then follow up with deep conditioners and ensure your hair is hydrated and strengthened
